Janice Ellen Storm

Visitation for Janice Ellen Storm, 58, of Ruidoso will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, in LaGrone Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Storm died Feb. 6, 2006, in Ruidoso.

She was born July 26, 1947, at El Paso, Texas. She was a fifth-grade teacher at the Mescalero Schools and was currently working on her master's degree at the University of Texas, El Paso. For 10 years she worked at McDonald's Observatory as a data analyst for NASA. She was a member of the Red Hats and Beta Sigma Phi.

She had lived in Ruidoso since 1992, moving from Oregon. She married William Storm on Sept. 3, 1965, in El Paso, Texas.

Surviving family members include her husband, William, of Ruidoso; a son, David Storm of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Pamela Storm of Odessa, Texas, and Cynthia Soto of Germany; two sisters, Gail Dugan of Dallas, Texas, and Laurie Alexander of El Paso, Texas; and two grandchildren, Kirsten Soto and Christopher Soto.
